I highly recommend studying Ayurveda with Narayana Ayurveda and Yoga Academy. This school not only offers its students a very solid foundational and applied knowledge of Ayurveda but also gives them the opportunity to delve into many other related areas of Vedic study. It’s the real deal, based primarily on the principal surviving texts, and not dumbed down in the Western secular fashion. The teachers and students you study with are amazing, hailing from all different backgrounds, careers, and areas of interest. The instructors were all very knowledgeable, kind and dedicated. I really appreciated their different teaching styles and ability to share personal expertise.

My experience through the Ayurveda counselor program was humbling and rewarding. What I am most grateful for was connecting with teachers deeply knowledgeable in the practice of Ayurveda and to many others blessed with unique gifts in this and many other healing practices. I was able to cherish these connections most in the internships and in-person workshops. I feel confident that I have the skills to apply Ayurveda in my life and help others do so to improve their health. I also feel confident that I walked away from the program with a community of ppl and mentors who I can consistently seek guidance and learn from for years to come. Finishing the counselor program is just the beginning of a study and practice of Ayurveda, but I’m happy it started with Narayana Ayurveda yoga academy.

I recently completed the Ayurveda Counselor program at Narayana Ayurveda and Yoga Academy. For almost a year I was deeply immersed in Ayurveda. The teachers here gave me a solid foundation in Ayurveda and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from them. In a year filled with uncertainty due the world-wide pandemic, this course has grounded me. I feel prepared to guide people to self-heal through Ayurveda. I am very grateful to everyone at the Academy!
